Sometimes life isn’t that easy and sometimes it won’t let you continue with work that’s coming deep from the heart. I can’t say if we’ll ever return or not. The answer is far beyond any influence of mine.
However, from the bottom of my heart I’d like to thank all you precious people who make this happen, I’d like to thank you for the huge support and love. Maybe Lennerd & Leonie could make some of you smile over the last years- that’s all it was about, wasn’t it?
To all my fellow comic artists: Always keep on drawing. It’s such a great gift that need to be spread around and it was an honor to work with some of you.
Please don’t forget us too soon – Maybe someday these little clumsy guys will return. I don’t know.

A few weeks ago Lennerd & Leonie were the second winner of the first ever Webcomic Challenge initiated by the great guys of Best Webcomics. Our invincible opponent was Pirate Mike, a brilliant and unique comic strip created by very talented artist Brad Perri. Well, the stake (or better: the honour) was that the webcomic artist that lost has to create a cross-over comic featuring the winner…and here it is! Hope you like! (With a very special thanks to Brad Perri!)
